Chris Sale Photography
I am a landscape photographer based in Cumbria in the north west of England.
Specialising in landscape photography I dedicate my time to capturing the beauty of the Lake District National Park.
I live in Shap, on the eastern edge of the national park, with my wife Helen and our two cats.
The Photographer
Since I was a boy I have always had a love for our countryside.
When later in life I developed a passion for photography it was inevitable that I would choose to focus on the landscape.
Today I dedicate as much time as possible to sharing my passion for landscape photography and passing on what I have learnt.
The Teacher
As an experienced landscape photographer I offer both workshops and 1-2-1s.
I specialise in helping people who are new to photography to develop the basic skills needed to start photographing the landscape with confidence.
I am also available for hire as a location guide to help you get the most out of your time in the Lake District.
The YouTuber
In 2017 I started a YouTube channel. My aim is to inspire others by sharing my passion for landscape photography and for the Lake District.
Each week I publish videos sharing my adventures photographing the Lake District.
I also release videos in which I share my knowledge, philosophy and approach to landscape photography.
The Blogger
In addition to producing videos for YouTube I also write a weekly blog.
Taking the form of a diary I aim to share what goes on behind the scenes.
Being as candid as possible each week I write about life as a landscape photographer in 2020. The reality may surprise you!
